Tater Tot Cup is an annual Jr. sailing regatta hosted by Sandpoint Sailing Association.

Date: Monday, September 2, 2024

Location: North end of Lake Pend Oreille, off City Beach area and outside the no wake zone.
 

Ages: 10 – 18, exceptions made for younger competitors that have completed an approved sailing program.
 

Classes:

• Holders

• Lasers

• Sport boats​ (i.e., RS Feva, Vanguard, etc.) 

Rules: This race will be governed by the rules as defined in The Racing Rules of Sailing 2021-2024 unless otherwise specified.

Schedule:​

• 8:30am – Parents meeting at Fred's Deck

• 9am – Parents/skippers meeting at Fred’s Deck

• 10 am – First warning signal

• No starts after 2 pm

Courses: Courses could include: Standard two lap windward leeward, Standard Olympic course. Downwind start, leeward windward, downwind finish

Registration: All sailors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Registration will take place in person on the morning of the event.
